How to Shrink Battery Packs
  1. You will need a heat gun (some hair dryers may work)
  2. Measure the pack or cell and cut the heat shrink about 1/4" longer.
  3. Place the pack or cell in the heat shrink tube.
  4. Heat the shrink with a heat gun, it is VERY IMPORTANT to keep the heat gun moving DO NOT hold the heat gun in one place as you may pop a hole in the shrink.
  5. On some pack configurations you may need to press the open ends of the heat shrink down against a flat surface to seal the ends. Do this while the heat shrink is still hot for a nice professional looking job.
